Reduce Phosphates to create Crystal Clear Water!

PHOSCLEAR is a buffered alum phosphate control. Alum is widely recognized as a great way to reduce phosphates and create crystal clear water. Alum is aluminum sulfate; when the aluminum ions bond with the phosphate molecules present in the water, they become insoluble and unavailable as a nutrient. The aluminum ions also attract dirt particles which, when drawn together, become heavy and settle to the bottom resulting in sparkling clear water.

The pH of the water must be below 8.2 before treating with PHOSCLEAR.

Application rates vary from 17 - 70 lbs. per acre-foot of water.
